What is Living with Christ?
Living with Christ is created and produced by Bayard, Inc., New London, CT. Sponsored by the Augustinians of the Assumption. Provincial: Fr. Marcel Poirier, A.A.
Margaret Palliser, OP, editor, a Dominican Sister of Sparkill, NY, earned a doctorate in spirituality from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, as well as a master’s degree in music from Boston University. An educator, author, musician, liturgist, and retreat director, Sr. Margaret is well known as an authority on the theology of Julian of Norwich. She has taught at numerous colleges, universities and seminaries, and currently teaches the history of Christian spirituality in the Graduate School of Religion and Religious Education at Fordham University.
Sr. Margaret brings a rich and diverse background in ministry to her work as editor. She has worked in parish settings, diocesan level programs, elementary and secondary schools, and Catholic higher education administration. Her university experiences as director of campus ministry and as director of a center for spirituality and ministry have given her a passion for nurturing the integration of prayer, liturgy and personal spiritual growth. She sees Living with Christ as a priceless resource for deepening one’s understanding of the Eucharist, prayer, sacred scripture and Catholic spiritual traditions, especially as one seeks to live one’s faith more fully with family, friends, co-workers, and members of one’s parish or faith community.

Jeff McCall, art director, is the art director of Catholic Digest and God's Word Today, as well as Living with Christ. Since 1996, he has overseen the design direction of Today's Parish Minister and Religion Teacher's Journal magazines at Twenty-Third Publications.

Michelle Gerstel, production editor, is the production editor for Bayard, Inc. In addition to her work with Living with Christ, she currently oversees graphic design for God's Word Today and for the book division of Twenty-Third Publications.

Dan Connors, editorial director, has been part of the Living with Christ team since 2002. He is currently the editorial director for the Bayard magazine group and for Twenty-Third Publications. He is editor-in-chief of Catholic Digest and has also served as editor of Today's Parish Magazine, managing editor of Pastoral Music, and managing editor of Emmanuel Magazine. Dan has worked with parish leaders for 28 years and is an active parish volunteer.

Bret D. Thomas, publisher, joined Bayard, Inc., as president and CEO in January 2007, after serving as president and CEO of Peter Li Inc., publisher of Catechist, Today's Catholic Teacher, the Pflaum Gospel Weeklies, and other religious instructional books and supplemental materials. Prior to that, Bret taught high school biology and life sciences for the Diocese of Pittsburgh. He earned graduate and undergraduate degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Dayton.
